After 50 years of marriage, my wife died early this year. For the last 5 years I was her primary care giver and tied to the house. I wouldn't trade that time for anything, but now am looking to get back involved in life. I want to get back to doing the things I love like eating out, traveling, camping and fishing. I love my daughter and my 2 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them, but they live about 7 hours away. Because the last few years my wife was home-bound, I have lost touch with old friends and have very little family in this area. I am generally a very friendly person, easy going and likeable (or so I'm told). My daughter says I can (and do) talk to anyone, anywhere. I enjoy going to church, singing and teaching Sunday school. I am active in my church and in good overall health. I am honest, dependable and stable and ready to get back to living life to it's fullest.

I enjoy fishing, camping and traveling. I believe in living in the present - I understand that none of us know how much time we have left on this planet, I believe in making the most of it.
