I am a christian man serious about my faith. The most important factor irregardless of how beautiful a woman is is her faith, trust, and belief in a benevolent God who sacrificially sent his loving willing and obedient son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to die for the atonement our sins through the remission factor of his own sinless, perfect, God's blood, who when ascending back to Heaven sent this spirit of the living God as a comforter. That the Faithful and True son would return to gather the faithful who are the children of the living God to be joint heirs with Christ, in Heaven, for ever and ever, Amen.....

I really could not date someone who is not founded in Christian faith because I do not want to evangelize my house, but want an equally-yoked help-meet to accompany me in evangelizing others. If you are a Christian, this should be a pretty sound statement of faith and a definition of the person who I have become through Christ who strengthens, chastens, and processionally improves me towards perfection. To an other believer, a non-believer, etc., this is where you will probably stop reading if you haven't already...

If not, as Paul Harvey would have said, and here is the rest of my story. I am a reader. I really do not find anything worth while watching on network tv now. I however an avid movie watcher.

-My favorite actors are:
Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Robin Willaims, Jack Nicholson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Denzel Washington and others.

-My favorite actresses: (strange how much short the list is when I look at it now) Helen Hunt, Kathy Bates, and others.

-Some of my favorite movies are:
Most Tyler Perry movies, The Bucket List, The Scent of A Woman, Elizabethtown, Rocky Balboa, Men of Honor, The Hurricane, What Dreams May Come, The Green Mile.
(Note: I am a huge fan of the old Roseanne show. It was a comfort I had when everything fell apart during my initial separation 4 years ago.)

-I am very health oriented. I tend to eat pretty healthy and am a pretty good cook. I would describe my cooking style as Carribean and Asian infused Americana.

-I do enjoy an occasional glass of wine (usually a red -Chianti or Bordeaux- but not opposed to whites) or a good quality occasional beer (too expensive to swill and designed to enjoy -Belgian whites or ales or Germany's Paulander-).

-I like to go to the gym and weightlifting. I have found a new found pleasure in photography.

-I love powerful Gospel and other Christian music. Some of my favorite artists are: Fred Hammond, Nicole Nordeman, Marvin Sapp, Snokie Norful, Disciple, Etc..

-I am a contact person but I do need my space when I am "in my head". I can understand if a person needs the same.

-I prefer a non-passionate sit down method of problem solving. I do try to avoid contention. I like to keep things positive and constructive with the understanding sometimes there has to be a resolution to agree to disagree.

-I am a passionate romantic, I just can not allow the fullness of that expression in a dating arena. That is reserved for the time I marry again and then...the marriage bed is not defiled and anythings goes head to toes, lol.

-I am actually working on a book (which is turning into three).
-I love family environment.
-I prefer dogs over cats, but I can get close to cats.

I can tell a lot more but I would like to hear about you. So please, what about you, your life, your dreams...
Oh by the way, in this age group, everyone has some baggage (if you are not happily married and if you are please exit stage left)in the relationship area. I can accept yours if you can carry it well. I can even help carry it from time to time. Just in your heart reduce your trunks to carry alongs and I will do the same and we will leave the trunks at the curbside for the garbageman. They were too heavy to carry anyway.
